 Minneapolis, MN- April 17, 2008… The SMA Insurance Agency of St. Cloud, Minnesota, received the prestigious “Agency of the Year Award” from the Minnesota Independent Insurance Agents and Brokers Association at the annual convention on April 17, 2008. MIIAB is
the largest professional association representing over 5,000 independent insurance agents and their staff throughout Minnesota. This award was presented to SMA through a series of nominations from the member agents of MIIAB and the insurance companies that are
represented in SMA’s agency.
In the award presentation, SMA Insurance Agency was recognized for their dedication as a full service independent agency offering a broad range of insurance products and financial planning services to its customers since 1984. The SMA Agency is committed to
establishing and maintaining a relationship of mutual trust and service with each of its customers and insurance companies they represent. SMA prides themselves on their outstanding relationship with their clients with a mission statement of, “Our people,
working with our clients, for a secure future for all”.
In the awards presentation, it was acknowledged that the SMA Agency is one of the premiere insurance agencies in Minnesota, recognized by their fellow agents, insurance companies, and the customers they serve. The agency is truly dedicated to professionalism
and their success has taken their agency from a one agent, one employee agency in 1984, to an agency with over 22 employees representing 30 insurance companies. A major insurance company executive stated that, “The SMA Insurance Agency is a model for all
independent insurance agencies throughout Minnesota and the United States, and we are proud to have them representing our company to the Minnesota marketplace”. The SMA Insurance Agency is also a “Trusted Choice” agency.
